Rui Macedo
Rui Macedo is a Portuguese artist born in Évora in 1975. He has a degree in painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon in 1999 and obtained a Masters degree of Painting at the same University. He has received numerous Merit Scholarship in Painting and Visual Arts: Visual Arts Project - Painting installation Le récit spéculaire, Sines Arts Centre, the DRCA / Ministry of Culture. Lisbon in 2007; Art Project - Visual Arts, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation for installation Caleidoscópio (Commissioner José Bragança de Miranda) at the Museu de Grão Vasco in Viseu, Portugal, in 2011; or Cieba Research Fellowship (Center Investigaçãoe estudos em Belas-Artes, secção Painting) / FCT (Fundação Ciência e Tecnologia)
