Sergio Belinchón
Sergio Belinchón devoted his attention to photography since 1997. After training at the School of Fine Arts in Valencia and stay on scholarship at the School of Spain in Paris, he worked for the arquitecto Santiago Calatrava and later got the grant from the Academy of Spain in Rome. From 2003 he also works video as a form of expression, performing projects in which both media are fed back. The themes on which his work is focus on are the city as a stage of life of its inhabitants, the transformation of the territory, tourism and spaces where reality and artificiality are ambiguous. Many of his projects, talk about the relationship that man establishes with the environment from its absence. In 2005, together with the artists Santiago Ydáñez, Noah Sandas, Antonio Mesones, Paul Ekaitz and Rui Calçada Bastos, founded in Berlin space Invaliden1 Galerie, conceived as a platform from which to showcase their work and that of the international community established artists or passing through the German capital
