Roberto Mollá
He graduated in Fine Arts, specializing in Painting, from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. He exhibits in Tokyo since 1994, city where he has made 12 collective and 8 solo exhibitions in places like the Kobo Chika Gallery, the Tozai Bunka Center or the Cervantes Institute. During 1996 and 1997 he was an artist in residence at Marunuma Geijutsu no mori (Asaka). In 2002 he resided in Moriya grant from Ibaraki Prefecture and in the Visual Art program of the Generalitat Valenciana. In 2002 he began to exhibit regularly in the United States integrated into the group of artists represented by Kesting / Ray Gallery in New York (formerly Christina Ray) who share a common interest in the images generated by the urban space and architecture. Since 2008 participates regularly in FOUNTAIN, SCOPE, NEXT and press fairs in the cities of NY, Miami, Chicago and Los Angeles. In 2010 he won the People's Choice Award from the New York Fair PULSE

In Spain he has participated in over 50 collective and individual galleries as Trentatrés Gallery (Valencia), My name's Lolita (Madrid) or Sala de eStar (Sevilla). He has also participated in fairs such as ARCO, Valencia Art, South Forum, Periphery (Huesca), Art Santander, Pure Art (Vigo) and Lisbon Art Fair, and events like the Biennial of Oviedo, the Observatori 2005 Valencia or group exhibition Pieza a Pieza, traveling exhibition around different headquarters of the Cervantes Institute. Roberto Molla founded in 2007 with Juan Cuellar, Encapsulados, a project dedicated to curate portable art exhibitions. The first exhibition of the project was conducted in a Tokyo capsule hotel. Since then, Encapsulados has made seven other exhibitions in the cities of Cartagena, Miami, New York, Berlin, Seville, Valencia and Hanoi.
