Eduardo Valderrey
Eduardo Valderrey (Barcelona, 1963) uses the urban environment and architecture as reflection between the city and identity. In the nineties he began working with the photographic medium using his own work as an integrating image support and space. Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona in 1987, teaches various courses and workshops on the concept of image and graphics processing. In "Hortus" (Barcelona 1996) starts a search on the different possibilities of using space as sculptural projection support. Since 1997 and through various scholarships and grants continues to project outside of Spain: "Le Garden" (Paris 1997 / Ministry of Culture), "Round Trip" (NewYork 1998 / Pollock-Krasner Foundation Workshop Artist's-Triangle), (Boston 1999 / MacDowell Colony), "Sur" (Rome 1999 / Ministry of Foreign Affairs), (Madrid 2000 / Casa de Velazquez), "Borders" (Texas / Generalitat de Catalunya), "overpass" (CAM / ArtOmi / Triangle Org .)

In 2008 he won the scholarship of creation Norte (North Foundation) and in 2011 received the First Prize Inund'ART Girona. So far it has completed two projects for our gallery: "Outborders" (2006) and "Aerópolis" (2010).
