Chema Alvargonzalez
Chema Alvargonzalez (Jerez de la Frontera, 1960 - Berlin 2009) was a photographer and video artist of conceptual approaches that handled the effect of light on the architectural motive to confer an unreal movement. He born in Jerez de la Frontera in 1960, studied in Barcelona and lived regularly in Berlin. It was a great creator of discursive projects, "The legacy of absence in memory", was a tribute to New York as a metropolis wounded by haste, that will repeat after with Madrid.

He participated in various programs of public sculpture and worked on the facades of CAC Malaga and Berlin and the one of the Spanish Embassy and the Swiss Embassy. He had numerous solo exhibitions among which include "What ball" in Oliva Arauna gallery in 2006, "The Invisible walk" with Carles Taché in Barcelona, "imaginary spaces" for the windows of El Corte Ingles English Corte, "Casas de luz" in Seville for San Fernando box or “El tiempo que ilumina" in the Aena Foundation.
