Pepe Carretero (Tomelloso Ciudad Real) defends in his themes the life he knows and recreates them regardless of the tendencies of the cultural world. His works introduce us in a personal and unique world, where traditional realistic forms converge inside a European figuration, that always surprises us by its peculiarity. He deals with dreamy and autobiographical moments, rescuing from his memory moments that are remembered as magical, telluric, welcoming and at the same time closed, disturbing and poignant.
